Quarterly Quests (PRO)
Once the year’s destination is set, Quarterly Quests break it into achievable 90-day goals.
At the start of each quarter, AQMeets runs a one-day sprint workshop. In this session, you and your team translate the big annual aim into a few specific quarterly objectives (and measurable key results) – in other words, you commit to what you will accomplish in the next 90 days.
Why Quarterly Quests matter:

Heightened self-awareness and course correction
Setting aside a day each quarter to review past performance sharpens one’s awareness through structured feedback. By asking “What have I accomplished?” and “What worked or failed?” one forces deep reflection rather than drifting on autopilot.
In Sahil Bloom’s framework, the end of each quarter is “a valuable opportunity to reflect” and adjust course. (see Ref: sahilbloom.com) Wayne Mullins likewise notes that a 90-day check‑in ensures you only keep pursuing goals that still matter, “preventing us from wasting time in pursuit of things that no longer matter” (See Ref: medium.com)
In short, regular reflection leverages reason to analyze outcomes and build awareness of progress (even small wins) that might otherwise go unnoticed. This feedback loop (Awareness+Reason) keeps long-term ambitions grounded in reality and highlights where to improve.

Focused vision and adaptive planning.
Quarterly planning engages imagination to re-envision goals in concrete, near-term terms, while using reason to break them into doable steps. Working in three-month “sprints” forces one to prioritize and focus on what truly matters (See Ref: medium.com)
This shorter time-frame eliminates the overwhelm of an annual plan, because large objectives become clear, actionable milestones. Scheduled reviews also embed flexibility: each quarter one “reflect[s] on progress, pivot[s] when necessary,” and re-calibrates strategy (See Ref: produhq.com)
As one productivity guide observes, breaking the year into manageable chunks “helps you stay productive, adapt to change, and celebrate progress — all without the overwhelm of long-term planning” (See Ref: produhq.com) In effect, the faculty of Imagination is harnessed to envision creative new approaches, while Reason keeps the plan realistic and prioritized. This synergy boosts clarity and fosters a growth mindset, adapting goals as life changes.

Strengthened will and disciplined execution.
Finally, a quarterly review galvanizes willpower and accountability by making commitments tangible. Defining clear 90-day deadlines naturally creates structure: one study notes that quarterly planning “enhance[s] productivity by establishing well-defined objectives and integrating regular evaluation mechanisms,” effectively a robust accountability framework. (See Ref: produhq.com)
Checking in every quarter reinforces follow-through on those commitments. Celebrating each quarter’s wins also fuels motivation: by recognizing progress (even modest gains) we build confidence and resolve for the next cycle.
In practice, the process tests and strengthens discipline – as Mullins admits, focusing intently on the next three months “puts my willpower to the test” (See Ref: medium.com), yet finishing the review leaves him feeling energized and accomplished. In this way, the dedicated planning day boosts Will, ensuring that awareness of progress and vision of goals translate into sustained action and momentum.
