About AQMeets®

AQMeets is the practical execution project of the Center for Motivation Research Inc..

A non-profit project for entrepreneurs and self-directed builders, created to help them review the week, correct the drift, and pursue excellence through visible proof.

The Center for Motivation Research Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 2006, with its home in Melbourne, Australia at Level 3/480 Collins St, Melbourne.

It began with a direct question:

What moves a person to do the good he already knows?

AQMeets brings that question into the week. Most serious people are not short on ideas. They know the work that needs attention, the conversation being delayed, the habit that would help, the decision that keeps returning, and the aim that should not keep slipping.

Then the week gives its report. The calendar fills, urgent work gets handled, the proposal stays almost finished, the numbers are left for later, and the deeper work waits again.

AQMeets was built for that gap: the gap between knowledge and action, between intention and proof, between what a person says matters and what the week shows.

The method is simple. Bring the week under review, name the drift, find the cause, correct one thing, and return to meaningful execution.

Why We Exist

Knowing better is not the same as living better.

The work behind AQMeets began with a human problem, not a software idea: people often know more than they live.

A founder can know the main lever and still answer easier messages first. A consultant can teach clarity while his own offer remains untested. A small business owner can know the numbers need review and still choose another operational fire.

More information rarely fixes this. The work needs rhythm, review, correction, and a weekly return to evidence.

That is why AQMeets exists.

Our Origin

AQMeets is where motivation research becomes a weekly practice.

The Center for Motivation Research Inc. studies the inner sources of action: motivation, attention, habit, feedback, will, meaning, and character. AQMeets carries those concerns into the working week.

What does motivation look like on Tuesday? What does purpose look like when clients are waiting, children are interrupting, messages are piling up, and fatigue is real? What does leadership look like when no one is forcing the next correction?

AQMeets was developed as a practical non-profit project for entrepreneurs in pursuit of excellence. The aim is not more content about meaningful work. The aim is to help people review the week, correct the drift, and make meaningful work visible again.

Intention. Reality. Analysis. Correction. Proof.

What We Do

AQMeets® gives serious people a rhythm for weekly review and correction.

AQMeets is a reviewed execution rhythm for self-directed builders. Each week, members are invited to bring reality to the table.

  • What did I intend?
  • What actually happened?
  • Where did drift begin?
  • What caused it?
  • What correction matters now?
  • What proof should next week produce?

This turns vague dissatisfaction into a visible pattern. It turns private explanation into honest review. It turns intention into one correction that can be carried.

Less motion. Better evidence. That is meaningful execution.

The Problem We Serve

The modern builder can stay busy while the meaningful work keeps waiting.

AQMeets is built for people who carry responsibility without someone else forcing the next move. From the outside, they may not look stuck. They answer, solve, help, show up, and keep the machine moving.

Privately, they know the pattern. The week is full, but the proof is thin. The calendar shows activity, but not always alignment. AQMeets calls this drift.

Drift is the slow distance between what a person says matters and what the week proves.

Unreviewed Weeks

When the week is not reviewed, the same explanation survives.

The person stays busy, but the pattern stays untouched.

Unprotected Intention

When intention has no rhythm around it, urgency takes over.

The visible work wins. The deeper work waits.

Uncorrected Drift

When drift is not named, it starts to feel normal.

One bad week is not the danger. The danger is becoming comfortable with the gap.

Leadership

Led and facilitated by John Angheli.

AQMeets is led and facilitated by John Angheli, founder of the Center for Motivation Research Inc.. John’s work sits at the meeting point of motivation research, leadership counselling, philosophy, education, and practical execution.

For nearly two decades, he has worked with leaders and builders trying to align serious inner aims with outer action. The question behind his work is not only whether people can set goals. The harder question is whether their weeks begin to prove what they say matters.

That question shaped AQMeets. In the meetings, John is not there to perform motivation. His role is to keep the room oriented to reality.

  • What happened?
  • What drifted?
  • What caused it?
  • What must now be corrected?

AQMeets meetings are serious, practical, and humane. No hype. No performance identity. No forced urgency. A disciplined return to reality, proof, and correction.

The Research Foundation

The Center for Motivation Research Inc. gives AQMeets its deeper foundation.

AQMeets is a practical expression of the Center for Motivation Research Inc.. The Center studies the inner sources of action: motivation, attention, habit, feedback, will, meaning, and character.

AQMeets brings those concerns into a repeatable weekly practice. The research question becomes practical:

What helps a person return to what matters when the week has pulled him away?

AQMeets answers through three commitments.

Integrity

The week should begin to reflect what the person says matters. Integrity is more than sincerity.

It is wholeness between stated intention and visible action.

Autonomy

Self-direction requires chosen rhythm, not mere independence.

Autonomy becomes stronger when a person can review reality, choose correction, and act without being forced.

Magnanimity

Meaningful ambition should serve more than private achievement.

Magnanimity joins noble aims to generous service, so progress becomes contribution.

How It Works

The weekly rhythm is the hinge.

AQMeets uses a layered rhythm of review and correction. Annual Aims clarify what the year is for. Quarterly Quests focus the next significant movement. Monthly Masteries form one habit, virtue, or capability at a time. Weekly Wraps bring the actual week under review. Daily Directives keep the day connected to the week.

You do not need to understand the whole ladder to begin. Start with the week.

The Weekly Wrap is the hinge. Without weekly review, larger aims become decorative. With weekly review, the builder returns to reality every seven days.

This is the main work: review the week, find the drift, correct one thing, return to meaningful execution.

Explore the Foundations

Three ways to understand AQMeets.

AQMeets is built from a philosophy of human formation, a movement of meaningful execution, and a manifesto against drift. Browse the foundations below.

The Philosophy

Why knowing is not enough.

The Philosophy page explains why people are formed by repeated action, not admired ideas, and why AQMeets turns motivation, habit, and character into a weekly review rhythm.

Read the Philosophy

The Movement

Why this cannot stay private.

The Movement page explains why self-directed builders need a shared standard, shared practice, and circle of witness to stop private drift from becoming normal.

Explore the Movement

The Manifesto

What AQMeets stands against.

The Manifesto names the forces that turn serious intentions into shallow weeks and calls builders back to reality, review, correction, and proof.

Who We Serve

For self-directed builders who are ready to review the week honestly.

AQMeets is for people who carry responsibility without always having someone else force the next move: founders, operators, consultants, advisers, coaches, independent professionals, small business owners, leaders carrying meaningful work, and high performers seeking a better standard of review.

It is for people who are tired of knowing more than they live. It is for people whose weeks are full but whose deeper proof is thin. It is for people who do not need more performance theatre.

They need a rhythm that helps them tell the truth, correct the drift, and continue.

Begin Where the Week Tells the Truth

AQMeets begins with one honest week.

The Center for Motivation Research Inc. asked what moves a person to do the good he already knows. AQMeets brings that question into practice this week.

If the week is already telling the truth, do not wait for a better season to review it.

Bring the week to the table.
Review what happened.
Name the drift.
Choose the correction.
Return to meaningful execution.

That is where motivation becomes action. That is where AQMeets begins.
